This accredited programme will see students work through three units designed to help them build confidence in communication skills and prepare them for applying for or entering work or further education, alongside this qualification students will also be working from PSHE Workbook to enhance their own personal development. Each learner will experience go karting at the end of this session.
Course Modules
Unit 1 - Preparing For Work
In this unit students will discuss five learning outcomes. Each learning outcome will enhance the learners understanding of identifying, understanding training requirements, complete applications, attend an interview and planning of their own career path.
Unit 2 - Customer Service
In this unit students will discuss six learning outcomes. Each learning outcome will enhance the learners understanding of customer service, consequences of poor customer service, positive and negative verbal r non-verbal communication and dealing with customer complaints.
Unit 3 - Group and Teamwork Communication Skills
In this unit students will discuss eight learning outcomes. Each learning outcome will enhance the learners understanding of the different roles and responsibilities when working in a group, communicating, listening and co-operation with a team including forming relationships with colleagues.
